High-Performance Therapy & Executive Burnout Specialist

Staying in Self
Operating in high-profile corporate, academic, tech, medical, or legal environments requires intense, non-stop mental processing. But navigating constant performance expectations, rigid deadlines, grading metrics, or complex institutional politics frequently leads to burnout, leaving you in a quiet, profound state of baseline exhaustion.
Crucially, this relentless pressure isn’t always purely environmental; often, it is deeply self-induced. For many high achievers, early childhood dynamics or unresolved traumatic pasts create an internal blueprint where safety is entirely conditional on flawless performance. This hyper-vigilant drive to constantly outrun failure creates the exact same biological and psychological exhaustion as any high-demand executive environment.
Whether you are an attorney navigating billable hours, an executive managing corporate pressure, or a student or teacher drowning under relentless academic demands, these high-stakes environments take a massive toll. As a practicing clinician with a Harvard Law J.D. background, I work with you as a collaborative equal to actively calibrate your nervous system metrics, dismantle these cognitive bottlenecks, and build an intentional, self-directed life.

A Shared Understanding of High-Stakes Exhaustion & Burnout
I bring a rare and deeply integrated perspective to the therapeutic space. Prior to practicing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and serving as the clinical director of an addiction treatment facility, I spent over 15 years operating within high-pressure, bi-coastal corporate and legal environments. My career includes serving as an Associate General Counsel and corporate Vice President in New York as well as prestigious law firm experience as an associate in Los Angeles.
Having personally managed high-profile roles, intensive workloads, and complex organizational environments, I possess an intimate, first-hand understanding of the systemic exhaustion, chronic overwhelm, and deep nervous system burnout that high-achieving adults experience.

A Precision Approach to Trauma & Nervous System Regulation
Talk therapy alone is rarely enough to untangle the deeply ingrained survival loops caused by prolonged high-stakes stress. These methods frequently fail fast, deeply analytical minds. When you operate under constant pressure, your nervous system gets stuck in a perpetual state of hyper-vigilance or chronic exhaustion. My private practice is built on what actively works.
I combine my analytical legal background (Harvard Law J.D.) with extensive clinical expertise in Substance Use Disorders (SUD), advanced autonomic regulation, and specialized trauma resolution.
To dismantle these deep emotional and cognitive bottlenecks, our work goes beyond traditional conversation. We utilize advanced, evidence-based neuro-clinical modalities to actively recalibrate your brain’s threat-response system:
- EMDR & Brainspotting: These specialized techniques bypass the analytical mind to directly access and reprocess subcortical trauma, clearing the emotional blocks that fuel performance anxiety and imposter syndrome.
- Autonomic Regulation & Somatic Integration: We look at your stress through a physiological lens, teaching you to consciously track and shift your nervous system metrics out of baseline burnout.
- Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT): This framework allows us to identify and reshape the complex attachment trauma and relational cycles that unconsciously impact your leadership style, boundaries, and personal relationships.
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): A highly practical, values-driven psychological framework that helps you stop fighting internal discomfort and start making swift, intentional choices aligned with a self-directed life.
Take Control of How You Show Up
True sustainability, professional and personal, requires looking at how your specific mind processes intense stress, manages cognitive load, and navigates daily pressure. Whether your challenges stem from a demanding institutional environment or an internal, self-imposed drive that refuses to let you slow down, the result is the same: profound cognitive fatigue and a dysregulated nervous system. By identifying your unique executive functioning profile, and acknowledging how natural neurodivergent variations like ADHD or autism can quietly amplify these struggles, we build practical strategies to restore clear focus and protect your mental well-being.

If your heart is broken, make art with the pieces.
My forte as a trauma therapist is in helping individuals whose lives feel like they are spiraling out of control restore a sense of inner control, purpose and serenity in their lives. How apropos for these times.
There’s an expression by the Canadian poet, Shane Koyczan, “If your heart is broken, make art with the pieces.” A fancy way, perhaps, of saying make lemonade with lemons or see the glass of water as half full, rather than half empty.
It is an honor and my life’s dream to be able to make use of my training and experiences to help others. It’s just not in my nature to let bad times win. As a trauma therapist, I come equipped with specific expertise in trauma modalities to help others put the past behind them, live in the present and feel motivated about the future.
I have worked with refugees, adolescents, seniors, veterans and First Responders in treatment settings ranging from residential, inpatient, community mental health, outpatient to partial hospitalization. My areas of special interest include: healing cultural/racial trauma, relationship repair, boundary setting, processing shame/loss and finding purpose.

Joy. Purpose. Healing
Practice Areas
This is not an exhaustive list. A person complaining of “stress” may spend a good part of treatment learning to delegate tasks at home and being more efficient at work. Part of integrated care and healing is about recognizing that issues affect us in a number of ways that impact, body, soul, mind and heart. I don’t believe in compartmentalizing my clients by their presenting issues. This is simply to allow you to conceptualize areas of emphasis in my practice. ;-)
